God has fulfilled his promise by providing a child named Isaac to Abraham and Sarah, but now Abraham must once again put his faith and trust in God as he obeys a very difficult command. Through tests, God reveals our spiritual progress and highlights areas that need further development, while at the same time making us ready for his greater blessings.
