As God continues to bring forth his plan of redemption for the world through Abraham and Sarah, the couple must wait on God to fulfill his promise, rather than seeking to accomplish it in their flesh. As we put confidence in God, we must surrender our expectations and patiently wait on him for the fulfillment of his promises.
